What are Tasks?

A task is a write action performed successfully by an automation. Anything that changes the state of something outside Domino is considered a write action

Example Actions that cost 1 task:

• Swap into a pool

• Buy an NFT

• Bridge a token

• Send a Discord message

• Send an Email

• Post a Zealy quest

Actions that cost 0 tasks:

• Check a token price

• Get a list of pools

• Only continue if something is true

• Set data locally

Triggers cost 0 tasks.

For example if you have a limit order automation that checks the price of a token every minute and makes a swap when the price is right, only the single action of the swap counts towards your tasks.

Each Domino plan has a certain number of task limit.
